I did this activation with my wife during a weekend when our children were staying with their grandparents. I attempted to create a video documenting the activation, providing a basic overview. However, it’s important to note that it falls far short of the quality found in videos produced by Thomas, K4SWL—it’s just a first attempt.
I activated this location during our camping vacation in Slovakia. We spent a wonderful week near Trnava. The camping site was nestled within a forest, and our tent was about 3 meters away from a small river.
On Friday, we returned from our vacation in Slovakia and headed straight to our grandparents‘ place, where our sons will be staying for the next two weeks. They spend every holiday with them.
I was here two years ago. It’s about 5 km from my QTH, a nice walk alongside the river Labe. WWFF rules are not good, if you activate the area once, you won’t get any extra points when you revisit it in the future. SOTA rules were better, GMA rules are probably the best.

This is my last activation this year. Weather was not so superb, sky was grey however we wanted to go outside and spend some time on fresh air.
I thought that my last activity this year will be the activity from OKFF-2010. Our twins wanted to celebrate their birthday with grandma and grandpa, who live in the Moravia region. The celebration was planned for the afternoon so I had a few hours to visit Jílová, again.
