Interview with Alex VE2XAA/2
I was looking for some details about VE2XAA/2 operation for my CQ Diamond Jubilee WAZ Award application and found this very nice interview. It's worth to read!

FOC is pleased to present the FOC QSO Party. This event is open to all radio amateurs world-wide. Its aim is to encourage the use of, and excellence in, Morse code. The FOC QSO Party is not a contest but an activity day in memory of Bill Windle, a past Chairman of FOC who was very keen that we should all be as active as possible on the bands.
Group of OK radioamateurs Pavel TA2ZAF (OK1MU), Dan OK1HRA and Honza OK2ZAW are going to activate Turkey Island Giresun AS-154 in the Black Sea between 14.10. and 18.10.2010. Pavel TA2ZAF applied last chance for activation this year and started to organize this expediton by high speed and big effort only few weegs ago. QSL via OK2GZ

Sunday's sunny afternoon with my father at OK/ST-087. My rig was FT-817+Z100 autotuner from LDG, antenna was 10m of wire on a tree. I made 19 QSO on 40, 6 and 2m band. As you can see on photos, somebody made spoil ground from this SOTA hill (or maybe somebody made SOTA from spoil ground :-)).
