Turkey Island Giresun AS-154 expedition

Group of OK radioamateurs Pavel TA2ZAF (OK1MU), Dan OK1HRA and Honza OK2ZAW are going to activate Turkey Island Giresun AS-154 in the Black Sea between 14.10. and 18.10.2010. Pavel TA2ZAF applied last chance for activation this year and started to organize this expediton by high speed and big effort only few weegs ago. QSL via OK2GZ

  • statusbar in QSO window could be disabled (good for netbook users)
  • program restart after DXCC tables update no longer needed
  • QRZ.COM icon search added to the 'QSO list' window toolbar
  • QRZ.COM icon search added also to the 'New QSO' window to search working station
  • LoTW users visible while working a station (a dedicated icon)
  • window with CW keys added
  • color marked DX cluster spots of LoTW users
  • LoTW confirmed countries now visible also in DX cluster
  • QRZ.COM search - fixed
  • calls were imported in lower case as it was in ADIF file - fixed
  • CQRLOG crashed while saving QTH longer than 60 characters

SOTA OK/ST-087 - Na Beckove

Sunday's sunny afternoon with my father at OK/ST-087. My rig was FT-817+Z100 autotuner from LDG, antenna was 10m of wire on a tree. I made 19 QSO on 40, 6 and 2m band. As you can see on photos, somebody made spoil ground from this SOTA hill (or maybe somebody made SOTA from spoil ground :-)).

TC07DX AS-115 Suluada Island

Group of OK radioamateurs Pavel TA2ZAF (OK1MU), Vláďa OK1CW, Franta OK1DF, Zdenek OK1FIA, Slávek OK1TN, Zdeno OK2ZW a Honza OK2ZAW under the special call TC07DX are going to activate Turkey Island Suluada AS-115 in Mediterranean Sea between 15.5. and 19.5.2010.

We will use two stations CW/SSB and some few hours of operation is planned for RTTY mode. Equipmend will be: 2 x IC-746PRO + 2 x TS-480SAT + 2 x PA 800W, ANT - 5 band Spiderbeam, multiband vertical AV-640, loops for 30/40m, HB9CV on 50MHz.

QSL will go via Jarda OK2GZ as in previous TA IOTA expeditions, via OK BURO or DIRECT or via e-mail(on request).

In case of internet connection on the island we have planned online-logs regularly updated as was in our previous TA IOTA expeditions, please stay tuned.

  • bandmap entries have now more precise frequency (down to a single Hz) for easier return to own spots
  • possibility to use reverse sideband for CW (CWR) instead of CW
  • the grayline map now uses a transparent overlay for night area visualisation
  • program crashes in Ubuntu 10.04 after openining Preferences window - fixed
  • storing values to grid and county field from membership doesn't work - fixed
